Role: Industrial Rescue Technician

As an Industrial Rescue Technician, you’ll be a vital member of our Emergency Response Team, providing safe and effective emergency response capabilities on client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to alarms and emergency incidents

• Perform confined space and vertical rescues

• Firefighting and emergency response

• Participate in regular training and scenario rehearsals

• Promote safety as a core value in all activities

• Adhere to HRMS Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems

• Foster open communication between contractors, clients, and the HRMS team

This is a casual position with a variety of hours available.

Shifts can provide a full time income or be scheduled around your existing commitments—perfect if you have a primary job or work on a roster.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking applicants who are experienced and hold the relevant qualifications for this role. If you meet the essential requirements below and have a strong background in industrial rescue or emergency response, we encourage you to apply.

Essential:

• White Card

• Undertake Confined Space Rescue 

• Undertake Vertical Rescue

• National Police Clearance & International Police Clearance if non-Australian Citizen

• Operate open circuit breathing apparatus 

Highly Desirable:

• Issue Work Permits

• Provide First Aid & CPR 

• Enter and work in Confined Space

• Work Safely at Heights 

• Gas Test Atmospheres

Experience & Skills

• Experience in emergency services, prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
