Now, we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to join the crew at our Mulgrave site, keep the wheels turning, and help shape the future of our logistics operations.
The OpportunityReporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be the key operational support and trusted second-in-command for our Mulgrave warehouse.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be on the floor, working alongside the team, setting the pace and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. You’ll coordinate workflow, solve problems, support your team and step into full operational leadership when the Warehouse Manager is away.
You’ll also have the opportunity to influence how we work. We’re looking for someone who notices inefficiencies, brings practical ideas and helps us build a warehouse operation that can continue to grow with the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:Coach, support, and motivate the warehouse team, stepping up to run the show when the Warehouse Manager is away.
Oversee daily operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure seamless and accurate distribution to both our retail stores and eCommerce customers.
Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and solving discrepancies like a pro.
Assist with rostering, labour allocation, and coordinating inbound deliveries and freight.
Work closely with our retail, eCommerce, and buying teams to keep the business aligned.
Maintain high standards of WHS to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace for everyone.
You’re highly organised, thrive under pressure, and know how to rally a team. You have a proactive mindset and genuinely care about career growth in supply chain and logistics.
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory, team leader, or 2IC role.
A proven ability to motivate a team and lead by example.
A strong understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory control, and logistics.
Highly organised with sharp attention to detail and fantastic problem-solving skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and stay cool in a fast-paced environment.
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in retail or eCommerce logistics environments.
Hands-on experience with the Retail Express platform.
