About the Job

This is a full-time internal sales position covering the whole business. You will sell across phone, email, trade account, walk-in & online channels, following each opportunity from the first enquiry through to the completed sale. We expect elite customer service, which means quick responses, clear communication, taking ownership & following things through.

Alongside your broader sales responsibilities, you will own & grow online sales. You will improve follow-up, strengthen conversion & ensure the online customer journey reflects the same practical service customers receive in-store. You will work across Jiwa, Detrack, Microsoft 365, Shopify, POS systems & freight company dashboards. We use AI daily to improve response quality & streamline workflows—you don't need to be an expert in Claude or ChatGPT, but you must be comfortable learning to use them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following up quotes, turning enquiries into sales & meeting agreed sales targets.

• Managing sales across phone, email, trade account, walk-in & online channels.

• Owning & growing online sales, including conversion, order follow-up & customer experience.

• Providing practical product guidance with quick, clear communication.

• Maintaining accurate sales information & coordinating with warehouse, delivery, suppliers & the wider team to keep orders moving.

What You’ll Bring

• A proven ability to close sales, follow up quotes & meet targets while delivering quick, clear customer service.

• Experience in internal sales, B2B sales, trade sales, retail or another commercially focused customer-facing role.

• Comfort using AI tools (or a willingness to learn) to research, draft, solve problems & improve workflows.

• Strong digital confidence & the ability to quickly learn Jiwa, Detrack, Microsoft 365, Shopify, POS systems & freight company dashboards.

• Shopify or e-commerce experience is preferred, as this person will own & grow online sales within the broader role.

• Higher-rate candidates: Proven B2B sales performers with industry knowledge, established relationships & a track record of growing sales may qualify for the higher end of the range.
