Responsibilities

We are seeking a commercially focused Business Controller – Transport to partner with our Transport Operations and Finance teams. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, providing commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across our transport network. A dynamic role, where every day is different, your duties will include:

• Partner with Transport Operations leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, forecasts, and budgets.
• Monitor transport costs, productivity metrics, and profitability.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with DHL financial policies and reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in business partnering, financial controlling, or commercial finance.
• Background in transport, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG industries highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
