Senior Finance Analyst (12 month contract)

Role Title: Senior Finance Analyst – FP&A & Financial Control (12 month contract)

Reports to: Finance Director, with day to day to the Business Operations Manager

Location: Richmond (Hybrid)

The role

This role would suit a systems savvy all-rounder that is particularly strong in FP&A, grounded with strong foundational accounting skills.

Accountable for all FP&A activities, cash flow management, reviewing the commission calculations, and select compliance activities required to meet balance sheet and regulatory requirements on behalf of Logicalis Australia. Can leverage strong foundations in financial control to step up/step in to support financial control activities from time to time.

Whilst starting out as a contract role, the responsibilities of the role will be required after the initial contract period, opening the door to permanency.

Accountabilities:

Weekly Sales Reporting

· Prepare the weekly sales report, and present to senior sales leaders.

· Review of sales pipe to understand what can be recognised as revenue within month or quarter.

· Liaise with Sales Leaders to understand movements week to week.

FP&A and Business Performance

· Profitability reporting for all gross profit lines (Product, VRM, Net Maintain, Professional Services, & Annuity Services).

· Preparing and reviewing Monthly Commentary, Flash reporting, and Forecasting (SIR), including responding to questions from Group and local leadership.

· Booking to ETA to Delivery Reporting – including Backlog.

· Forecasting booked orders – monthly and within Budget.

· Monthly analytical reporting per business line to Professional Services and Annuity Services Management.

· Preparing the Annual Budget and 3 Year Plan, including:

• Updating of instructions and communications to key stakeholders across the business;

• Updating of business models for the budget and 3YP (in consultation with the Manager – Accounting & Reporting, and Business Operations Lead);

• Financial Modelling of all key drivers.

• Engaging and providing support to key stakeholders from across the business..

· Review and ownership of monthly forecast.

· Ad Hoc analysis and reporting.

· Ensuring compliance with AASB/IFRS accounting standards.

Cashflow Management

· Review and ownership of weekly cashflow reporting, including quarterly targets.

Supporting other Month End processes

· Review of assigned balance sheet reconciliations.

· Provide guidance and direction to finance team members during month end.

Commissions Management

· Review of the commissions calculations

· Maintain and update the commissions policy for Logicalis Australia.

· Escalation point for issues in consultation / in support of Finance team.

Your experience:

· CA or CPA qualified

· Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience

· Strong commercial acumen and great at stakeholder engagement

· Highly proficient Power BI skills and MS Office applications generally

· Experience with Dynamics 365, especially the FinOps module is highly desirable

· Strong technical accounting skills

· Strong written, analytical and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to strict deadlines and delegate tasks
