Position Details

• JOB TITLE: Commercial Cable Installer / Data Technician

• JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent, and contract roles available

• LOCATION: Office in Banksmeadow- Projects in Sydney and around Australia

Position Summary

We are looking for good cable installers for Distributed Antenna System (DAS) installation for Two-Way Radio

and Cellular solutions. This position is responsible for the end-to-end installation, termination, and testing of

structured cabling systems, dedicated voice networks, and wireless/mobile coverage infrastructure across large-scale commercial projects. The role involves commercial fit-outs and large building complexes and requires a

strong focus on quality, safety, neat workmanship and compliance.

Experience

• Proven experience working on medium-to-large commercial construction projects or office fit outs.

• Experience with structured cabling, fibre optic and commercial communication infrastructure.

• Experience terminating and testing copper, fibre and voice networks is highly regarded.

• Experience interpreting commercial blueprints, schematics and construction schedules.

• We also understand that techs need a start and offer positions to inexperienced individuals and

will provide training and valuable field experience.

Technical Skills / Qualifications

• Current Open Cabling Registration (Structured and Fibre endorsements are highly

regarded).

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Note: A cabling license is not essential; we can offer apprenticeships to gain this qualification.

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Excellent attention to detail and focus on neat, compliant work.

• Ability to work effectively on large commercial construction sites.

• Professional approach to customers, project teams and other trades.

Working Conditions

• Hours of Work: Full-time employment and contract opportunities are available.

• Physical Requirements: The role involve physical installation work, including cable installation, containment, rack

and infrastructure work on construction and fit-out sites. A good level of fitness is required.

• Work Environment: Small to Large commercial construction sites, commercial fit-outs and building complexes.

Office/depot access is provided at Banksmeadow.
