About the RoleDue to our continued growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Melbourne office in a full time capacity. This role involves delivering telecommunication projects using both internal and external engineering and design resources. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project proposals and bids, interfacing with client Design Managers, Project Managers, and other Project Engineers as well as fostering positive, value-add client relationships. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the development of Design Management methodology, tools, and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport planning, execution, and monitoring of fixed line telecommunications designs.Coordinate with subcontractors, design staff and clients to ensure timely and quality delivery.Manage project trackers, documentation, and reporting requirementsIdentify risks and escalate issues impacting project timelines or deliverables.Provide technical input during project reviews and client meetings.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience).3–5+ years’ experience in telecoms project deliveryUnderstanding of fixed line telecommunications networks, or power distribution networks.Strong skills in project coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
