Join our Technology Security team, where you'll play a crucial role in protecting Auto & General's cloud infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. As part of the Security division, our team works at the forefront of cloud security, leading incident response activities and building advanced security capabilities. You'll collaborate with talented professionals across Technology and other business units to safeguard our systems and data. The role

As a Senior Cloud Incident Response Analyst, you'll lead and manage cloud security incident response activities, investigating, containing, and mitigating security incidents across our cloud environments. Reporting to the Head of Technology Security, you'll provide expert guidance on cloud-specific threats and vulnerabilities while helping to establish a centralised advanced incident response capability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading response activities to critical incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities across AWS and GCP environments\
• Supporting the establishment of a centralised advanced incident response capability to proactively defend A&G's cloud infrastructure
• Reviewing and uplifting incident response tooling, including dedicated out-of-band and forensics environments, incident tracking systems, and communication tools
• Implementing automation foundations and standards using DevOps and cloud industry practices and frameworks
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support security operations
• Acting as an ambassador for digital security across the business, building relationships and ensuring effective dialogue between teams
• Supporting cyber security projects and initiatives with timely judgment and technical expertise\
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote a strong risk and compliance culture aligned with APRA's prudential standards
• Providing on-call or shift support outside normal business hours when required

What experience you'll bring

• A minimum of 7+ years' experience working in cyber security with a focus on incident response and cloud security
• Demonstrated experience in incident response is essential
• Proven network experience across cloud and on-premise environments, with strong proficiency in design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure
• Expertise in AWS and/or GCP cloud security controls and technologies
• Strong understanding of network security practices and SIEM
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies
• Experience with DevSecOps principles and tooling
• Skilled in DevOps toolchains including Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps
• Cloud security certifications in AWS or GCP (desirable)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2 (desirable)
