We are looking for an experienced Sous chef to join our team. 

About the Role:

• Cooking and preparing high quality meals

• Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks

• Assisting the Head Chef in stock ordering to ensure inventory is maintained

• Assisting the Head Chef to create new menu items, recipes and develop dishes

• Supervise and provide training to our kitchen staff

• Ensure communication between the kitchen team is effective

• Ensure staff are following safe work practices at all times

• Maintain a high standard of food safety guidelines 

About You:

• Certificate 1V in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

• 2+ years proven experience in the same role 

• Attention to detail & excellent communication 

• Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
