Machine Operator - Dairy Food Plant

About the Business:

Brownes Dairy has been delighting consumers for over 140 years and is ready to embark on a new growth phase. You’ll step into an important role as a Machine Operator within our Dairy Food Plant, with the opportunity to contribute to the future of Brownes Dairy with brands such as Hunt and Brew, Füll+, ProGo, Brownes Chill and Yogo.

The Position: 

Our Machine Operators play a key role in creating our products by operating and monitoring processing and filling equipment accurately and safely, ensuring that our delicious dairy continues to meet the needs and tastebuds of the wonderful communities that we work and live in.  

Due to the nature of this role, there may be a requirement that successful candidates are available to work a rotating roster that may include day, afternoon and night shifts. 

What we are looking for: 

• Technical Skills: Previous experience working with processing equipment, automation systems, and quality control principles.

• Teamwork & Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

• Availability to work both day and night shifts 

• Previous experience troubleshooting machinery and a strong mechanical aptitude

• Current forklift license would be advantageous but is not essential
