Auto Electrician - Body Manufacturing

Midcoast Truck Bodies, part of the Midcoast Trucks Group, is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our growing Body Manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire and commission electrical systems on truck bodies and specialised equipment
• Install and commission HIAB vehicle-mounted cranes
• Fit lighting, PTO controls, safety systems and accessories
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• Complete testing and quality inspections
• Work collaboratively with fabrication, hydraulic and mechanical teams

About You

• Trade Qualified Automotive Electrician
• Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks or mobile plant preferred
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR licence advantageous)
