Pool World Noosa is a well-established, independent, family-owned business servicing the Noosa region for more than 25 years.

With a busy retail store and a large mobile pool service and installation team, we are looking for two organised, friendly and capable Office Administration & Customer Service team members to join our growing business.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys dealing with people, keeping things organised and being part of a busy team. No two days are exactly the same.

You’ll be an important link between our customers, service technicians, management and retail team, helping make sure jobs are scheduled, customers are kept informed and the day-to-day administration of the business runs smoothly.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming phone calls and responding to customer enquiries
• Providing friendly and professional customer service by phone, email and in person
• Booking and scheduling pool services, repairs and equipment installations
• Liaising with our pool technicians and service team throughout the day
• Managing changes to schedules and keeping customers informed
• Creating and updating customer and job information in our systems
• Preparing quotes, invoices and other customer correspondence
• Following up customers regarding bookings, quotes and outstanding information
• Assisting with general accounts and office administration
• Processing emails and maintaining organised office records
• Supporting management with general administrative tasks
• Working closely with our retail and service teams to ensure customers receive a high level of service

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Friendly, confident and professional when dealing with customers
• A clear communicator with good written and verbal skills
• Comfortable answering phones and dealing with a wide variety of people
• Reliable and able to take ownership of their responsibilities
• Good with computers and able to learn new software quickly
• Able to remain calm and organised when things get busy
• A team player who is also comfortable working independently
• Someone who notices what needs doing and gets on with it

Previous experience in office administration, customer service, scheduling, reception, service coordination or a similar role would be highly regarded.

Experience in the pool industry is not required, however highly desirable. We can teach you the pool side of the business — attitude, organisation and customer service skills are more important to us.
