About the role
Ace Lifting & Height Safety is seeking a motivated and professional Technician to join our growing team. Working across a diverse range of client sites, you will inspect, test, certify and install lifting and height safety equipment while building strong relationships with our customers and helping them maintain safe and compliant workplaces.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, customer interaction and working across a variety of industries.
About the RoleAs a Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, recertification and installation of lifting and height safety equipment across customer sites. You will report into the Branch Manager and work closely with our Scheduling & Administration team to ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and professionally.
Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, test and install lifting and height safety equipment at customer sites.
Review upcoming jobs to ensure tooling, equipment and materials are available and ready.
Liaise with customers prior to site attendance and throughout the inspection process.
Identify and capture all equipment requiring inspection while on site.
Complete inspection reports and discuss failed items with the customer contact.
Maintain accurate records of time, travel and materials.
Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition.
Participate in training, toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work safely and comply with all WHS, Quality and Environmental requirements.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Current Driver's Licence.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Be a great team player
Forklift Licence.
First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Working Safely at Heights.
KATTSAFE Installer Accreditation.
Working With Children Check.
Experience with lifting equipment, height safety systems, or related industries.
