About the role
Shape your world, in the team that shapes NSW communities, spaces and economies
Join our team and shape your world in a workplace that empowers you to do your best work and build a meaningful career. In this role, you will contribute to shaping lives and communities across NSW, while shaping your own career. You will enjoy flexible work options, varied and impactful projects, and a vibrant, diverse team culture built on collaboration, inclusion and support. We are creating a workplace where everyone belongs and where you can balance work, life and wellbeing.
The role
Work across complex, high-profile state projects. Supporting assessments that balance competing stakeholder interests while delivering timely, high-quality outcomes. You’ll play a key role in supporting your team day-to-day, tackle contentious issues, and find practical solutions that keep projects moving and meet legislative requirements.
This role encompasses the work of the Major Projects Advisory team and focuses on bilateral agreements between NSW and the Australian Government. You will assist in the implementation of the NSW/Australian Government Assessment Bilateral Agreement, including delivering the Bilateral Implementation Framework, supporting process improvements, and maintaining the Bilateral Helpdesk. You will also support the negotiation of new bilateral agreements between NSW and the Australian Government as a result of EPBC Act reforms.
This puts you at the centre of improving how the planning system works—driving smarter processes, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and shaping decisions that deliver efficient, consistent outcomes for government, industry and the community.
