Notting Hill Neighbourhood House is looking for an experienced and community-minded Neighbourhood House Manager to lead our team and help shape the next chapter of our busy local community hub.

NHNH is a vibrant and growing Neighbourhood House in the City of Monash, with a staff team of 5, around 45 volunteers, more than 35 community programs and activities, over 15 major community events each year, and partnerships with a wide range of community organisations.

We’re looking for someone who loves working with people and understands how strong, inclusive communities are built. You’ll lead our staff and volunteer teams, oversee the day-to-day operations of the House, strengthen our programs and partnerships, and work alongside our community to identify new opportunities for people to connect, participate, learn and contribute.

This is a hands-on leadership role that brings together community development and organisational management. You’ll be responsible for areas including people and programs, finances and funding, partnerships, governance and compliance, while working closely with the Committee of Management on the strategic direction and ongoing sustainability of NHNH.

About the role

• Classification: Neighbourhood Houses and Adult Community Education Centres Collective Agreement 2024 (NACHE), Level 7
• Employment: Ongoing, part-time
• Hours: 25 hours per week, 44 weeks per year, generally during Victorian school terms. Days to be negotiated.
• Location: Notting Hill Neighbourhood House, 37 Westerfield Drive, Notting Hill VIC 3168
