Dispatch and Packing Operator

An opportunity exists for an experienced Dispatch / Packing Operator to join one of the leaders in laser cutting industry

You'll need to:

= have a valid Forklift license;

= have experience in loading and unloading various size pallets from trucks;

= assist the Production Manager and Dispatch Manager in day to day operations;

= ensure all jobs are checked and properly packed before loading them for Dispatch;

= ensure correct paper work is going with each dispatched job;

= have the ability to effectively manage priorities and meet targets;

= have solid experience in packing and dispatch of sheet metal goods preferably;

= have to be able to read and work with paper work like packing slips, dispatch notices, purchase orders and delivery dockets etc;

= have minimum computer skills like email, word and excel;

= have good customer skills and be able to work in a time critical environment;

= have attention to detail and follow the quality procedures in place;

Day position ONLY, working hours Monday to Friday 5:30 to 15:00 (16:00 every second month once trained for the position)
