About Chozen FoundationChozen Foundation is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Zimbabwe. Through community-led initiatives, we focus on basic needs, education and women’s empowerment, helping create sustainable opportunities and brighter futures.
The OpportunityWe’re looking for an enthusiastic Events & Community Coordinator to help bring the Chozen Foundation community together.You’ll be the architect of the Chozen experience — turning ideas into engaging real-world moments that build connections, raise awareness and inspire people to support our mission.
What You’ll DoPlan: Help organise fundraising and community events, including sourcing venues, managing RSVPs and coordinating event logistics.Deliver: Be a welcoming presence at events, helping ensure everything runs smoothly and guests have a great experience.Create: Brainstorm fresh and engaging event concepts that align with the Chozen Foundation mission.Connect: Help build relationships with our supporters, volunteers, partners and wider community.Promote: Work with our marketing and fundraising volunteers to help drive attendance and engagement around events.
About YouYou’re proactive, organised, creative and confident working with people. Experience in events, sales, PR, community engagement or project management would be ideal.
Most importantly, you’re passionate about bringing people together and using your skills to create positive social impact.
Commitment: Regular, 6+ monthsTime Required: Approximately 3–5 hours per weekRequirement: Driver’s Licence (C)Location: Melbourne, VIC (remote friendly)
