We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance Team on a full-time permanent basis.

About The Role

As an Electrician within the Coal and Ash Plant Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault-finding, testing and commissioning a range of electrical systems and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections and testing of plant equipmentDiagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtimeInstall, maintain, modify and commission electrical plant and equipmentFollow maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvementUtilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work ordersCarry out minor plant isolations and operational activities as requiredContribute to process and system improvement initiativesPrepare and participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Electrical Trade QualificationCurrent Electrical A Grade LicenceHigh Voltage Safe Work Practices Certificate and/or High Voltage Switching CertificationCurrent Driver's LicenceStrong commitment to safe work practicesExperience in heavy industrial, mining, power generation or manufacturing environments will be highly regardedAbility to work collaboratively within a maintenance team
