FIT College is seeking passionate and motivated fitness professionals to join our education team as a Campus Educator - Trainer & Assessor. This is an exciting opportunity to move beyond the gym floor and into a rewarding career in fitness education.

About the Role

As a Campus Educator, you will deliver engaging and practical fitness education to students completing Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness qualifications.

This role involves face-to-face classroom delivery, practical gym-based learning, student support, assessment, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging face-to-face classes, workshops, and practical training sessions

• Train, assess, and support students in both classroom and practical learning environments

• Deliver Certificate III and IV in Fitness programs

• Demonstrate and supervise practical assessments within a commercial gym environment

• Provide constructive feedback and ongoing student support

• Maintain a professional, safe, and positive learning environment

• Deliver First Aid and CPR training where required

• Encourage student engagement, motivation, and career development

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Fitness

• Certificate IV in Fitness (or higher)

• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 2 years’ current experience working in the fitness industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for mentoring and helping others succeed

Highly Regarded

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)

• Diploma of Sport, Coaching or related field

• Experience in sports coaching

• Previous training, presenting, or teaching experience

Teacher Pathways Program

Applications are also welcome from experienced Personal Trainers who are looking to transition into a career in education.

Through our Teacher Pathways Program, successful applicants may receive:

• Training in classroom delivery and presentation skills

• Support to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
