Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join a collaborative payroll team supporting employees across multiple manufacturing sites. In this role, you'll help ensure our people are paid correctly and on time while providing a high level of service and support across the business.

Working across payroll, timekeeping and HR systems, you'll support weekly payroll activities, maintain employee records and assist with the application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation. You'll also work closely with site teams, HR, Finance and workforce planning stakeholders to resolve queries and support smooth payroll operations.

This is an opportunity to build your payroll capability within a large Australian business, gain exposure to leading payroll technologies and contribute to initiatives that improve processes and ways of working.

• Support the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls across multiple manufacturing sites
• Maintain accurate employee, payroll and timekeeping records across multiple systems
• Support the interpretation and application of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll conditions to ensure accurate outcomes
• Process payroll calculations relating to overtime, leave, terminations, deductions and adjustments
• Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll enquiries with a strong customer focus
• Work closely with HR, Finance, workforce planners and operational leaders to support payroll accuracy and issue resolution
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, compliance activities and audit requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and payroll-related projects as opportunities arise

• Experience in payroll processing, payroll administration or a similar payroll support role
• Exposure to Awards, Enterprise Agreements or payroll legislation within Australia
• Experience with ADP, UKG Dimensions, SuccessFactors, SAP or similar systems will be highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
