Maintenance Role with Plumbing Experience

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance, with a particular focus on plumbing-related tasks. You will bring your experience and aptitude to the maintenance team with a positive attitude and teamwork mentality. This role will be based in the South-eastern suburbs of Sydney, servicing three clubs within The Juniors Group at Kingsford, Maroubra and Malabar.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general building and property maintenance
• Diagnose and repair basic plumbing issues, including taps, toilets, leaks and pipework
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment
• Liaise with contractors and trades when specialist work is required
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work completed

About you

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
• Practical plumbing experience is essential
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise jobs effectively
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A trade qualification or relevant plumbing qualification is highly regarded
• Current driver's licence preferred
