What we need
We currently have a Casual opportunity for a highly motivated Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team!

What will you do?

Your role will be to support our Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator in providing an engaging person-centred leisure and lifestyle program.

More specifically, your key duties will include:

• participate and assist in the development of various activities that take into consideration the residents social needs and care plan
• encourage and motivate residents and family to participate in the activities program
• regularly evaluate activities and individual care plans in relation to the residents’ social needs.

 What you bring to the role

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is preferred but Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) will be accepted. 
• Residential aged care and/or experience working with clients with dementia is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team 
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A can-do attitude with the ability to learn and grow on the job 
• A friendly outgoing personality 
• A desire to work in the not-for-profit sector in a rewarding environment
