About the Role

Are you a strategic commercial Service Delivery leader looking to make a direct impact on Australia's defence capabilities?

Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking a Manager Commercial Delivery AMP to take end-to-end governance and operational accountability for the C130J Air Mobility Program (AMP) contract. In this pivotal role, you will lead a multi-functional team, negotiate and manage complex prime and subcontracts, and serve as the RAAF C-130J Platform Steward to the Enterprise to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Commercial Governance

• Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and compliance of all program agreements, including ASDEFCON and TLS contracts.
• Drive operational cost-effectiveness, manage service-level budgets, and ensure prompt quote submissions and invoicing.
• Manage strategic commercial risks, draft proactive Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), and support internal bid gate reviews.

Platform Stewardship & Enterprise Leadership

• Serve as the primary focal point for RAAF C-130J Enterprise Stewardship Enterprise.
• Monitor fleet health, analyse performance trends, and collaborate with Enterprise stakeholders to address weaknesses and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage contract Plans and lead Enterprise-level risk management to optimise fleet sustainment for CASG.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and empower a team of commercial and service delivery personnel.
• Act as the primary interface for legal, regulatory, and compliance matters - including ITAR/EAR export controls and IP reporting.
• Lead Periodic and Annual Performance Reviews with customers to maintain exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Security Clearance: Must hold (or be eligible to obtain/maintain) an Australian Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
• Education: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Business, Law, Engineering, or Logistics).
• Contractual Expertise: Extensive understanding of Commonwealth procurement frameworks, the ASDEFCON contracting suite, and Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) mechanisms.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven capability to build strong, collaborative relationships across cross-functional and matrixed teams.
• Compliance & Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace safety (SMS), quality standards, and export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
