Job Title: Precast Concreting-Steel Fixer / Skilled Labourer
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Precast Concreting- Steel Fixer / Skilled Labourer to join our team. This hands-on role will involve working within a precast concrete environment, contributing to the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of concrete products.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) for precast concrete products
Assist with formwork setup, mould preparation, and concrete pours
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions to meet deadlines
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
Assist with general labouring duties as required
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets
Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and site procedures
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive workplace culture
Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality
Previous experience in precast concreting and steel fixing (essential)
Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings (preferred)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Construction White Card
Forklift licence (desirable)
Current driver’s licence (preferred)
Stable, ongoing work
