Cert IV Team Leader or Enrolled Nurse

The Opportunity

Newcastle Anglican are seeking a Senior Care Assistant or Enrolled Nurse to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW.. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.

Permanent Shifts available + flex up during leave periods:

Week 1

Mon 14:30-22:45

Wed 22:30-06:45

Fri 22:30-06:45

Sun 14:30-22:45

Week 2

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care ManagerAdminister medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered NurseContribute to the clinical care of consumers including maintenance of clinical records.

About you?

Diploma in Nursing or Certificate IV in Aged Care Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtainAn ability to work effectively as an individual and within a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to accurately document residents care/progress
