About the role

We are seeking an Assembly General Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, VIC.

The role will offer you a variety of tasks from Product assembly to assisting with part kitting, racking, order picking and other general operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Part Racking ready for next operations taking care and dilligence in material handling

• Picking parts and staging them for next operations within our warehouse and finishing work centres

• Perform assembly of our taps, fixtures and associated components following detailed work instructions and technical specifications

• Maintain a clean and organised work station and follow all health and safety protocols

• Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of work areas as required

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets

• Report any issues or defects to the production supervisor immediately

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on processes

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or factory operations is highly desirable

• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and attention to detail, particularly in quality-driven environments

• Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently

• Reliability and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance

• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and work instructions

• Capacity to work as part of a team and follow supervisor instructions

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials of moderate weight

• Willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a safety-conscious workplace

• Current driving licence is preferred for some shift requirements
