Electrical Fire Technician

About the Role

This is a full-time Perth-based blended role with regular FIFO work requirements at various locations. As an Electrical Fire Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of fire protection systems and equipment. Your role will include:
 

• Work within the guidelines of the AS1851 and assigned on-site work;

• To comply with Company work rules, required work practices and instructions, including regard to safety and environmental matters;

• Advise Leading Hand of project progress and issues;

• Installing Company supplied items and materials;

• Installing customer supplied items and materials;

• Review and forecast of equipment requirements;

• Completion of project check sheets in accordance with documented processes and the project plan;

• Liaise with Principles site based management team as required for completion of works;

• Maintain and protect company tools and assets.

• Maintaining daily site diary including daily progress report';

• Complete company approved timesheet daily and submit company approved time sheet weekly.

• Advise Leading Hand of unsafe work areas, materials and equipment;

  
What you will need:
 

• 5 years within the Fire Industry

• AS1851 Maintenance

• Construction White Card

• Current and valid WA driver’s licence

• One of the below:

• A Grade Electrical License

• Cablers Licence

Desirable:
 

• EAHL

• FPAS Accreditation (Qualified or Transitional)

• Cert II in Fire Asset Maintenance

• Enter & Work in Confined Spaces

• High Risk Work Licence

• MSIC

• Senior First Aid

• Current LV / CPR

• 4WD Training

• Fatigue Management Training
