As a Senior Firefighter, you’ll play an important role in delivering 24/7 rescue and firefighting services across a busy airfield environment. You’ll work as part of a skilled and supportive fire and rescue team, responding to aviation, structural and other emergency incidents. Your calm judgement, technical capability and commitment to safety will help protect people, facilities and aircraft when it matters most.

As a Senior Firefighter in the Fire Rescue Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Responding to aviation, structural and other emergency incidentsConducting rescue operations and supporting casualty care when requiredOperating firefighting, rescue and specialist emergency equipmentMaintaining vehicles, personal protective equipment and breathing apparatusManaging control room activities and dispatching emergency resourcesCompleting operational checks, logs and incident information accurately

This role will be based in Dubai.

You'll Ideally Have

Two to Five (2-5) years of experience in fire/rescue services including two (2) years as a firefighter at an ICAO Category Five (5) airfield or above.Additional fire/rescue work experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years formal education in the ratio of two (2) years’ experience to one (1) years education.Military firefighting experienceCertified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer based dispatch/control systems.Shall possess fire and rescue qualifications at least equal to the below:ICAO FirefighterNFPA 1001 Firefighter I/IINFPA 1002 Fire Apparatus, Driver/OperatorNFPA 1003 Airport FirefighterNFPA 1061 Public Safety Telecommunicator I/IINFPA 472/1072 HAZMAT First Responder Technician LevelFirst Aid/Basic Life Support Certification (Essential)SCBA Maintenance Technician (Desirable)
