Barista

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our night crew team at Bal Bakes' in Craigieburn, VIC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee and customer service to our valued customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, vibrant cafe environment. We’re also looking for a barista/team leader position

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing high-quality espresso-based beverages and other specialty coffee drinks

2. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive cafe experience

3. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

4. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

5. Assisting with general cafe duties as required

6. Team leader duties

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Barista in a cafe or similar hospitality setting

2. Minimum 1+ years of barista experience required

3. Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks

4. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

6. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

7. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, morning & NIGHT (required) shifts as well

8. Must be AVAILABLE Thursday-Sunday 6pm-10:30pm weekly
