About the Opportunity

As RAM Principal Engineer, you will establish and deliver the project's Reliability, Availability and Maintainability strategy across the full asset lifecycle. Reporting to the Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Manager, you will work across various ACCIONA M&E projects, guiding design, procurement, construction and commissioning decisions. You will represent the organisation as technical authority for RAM, providing mentoring, governance and direction across the discipline.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage complex system design from concept through validation
• Resolve design conflicts to meet performance and regulatory standards
• Apply RAM principles to improve maintainability and availability
• Lead Value Engineering and Whole of Life assessments
• Oversee compliance with Design Controls and Safety in Design
• Lead technical problem solving across cost, time and quality constraints
• Mentor engineers on systems thinking and innovation

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
• 15+ years delivering RAM on regulated infrastructure projects
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Experience with RAM software (Isograph, ReliaSoft or equivalent)
• Postgraduate qualification in Reliability, Systems Engineering or Asset Management; System Safety experience; understanding of ISO 55000 principles (desirable but NOT essential)
