Bakery Counter Service Attendant

Panini Brothers is an iconic South Australian institution renowned for our extensive Italian home style breads, pizza, focaccia, bakery and continental cake offering since 2004.

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Bakery Counter Service Attendants to join our experienced team.

As the first point of contact for our customers we aim to create a welcoming and positive customer experience at our bakery counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction

Please greet customers, take and prepare orders efficiently in person or by phone, answer questions about products, seek upsell opportunities, process payment

• Display and Presentation

We present and arrange our products on racks, display cases, warmers and fridges. These need to be well stocked at all times to look appealing and attract our customers. We track product expiry dates and need to arrange their use accordingly in line with our high food safety standards

• Product Knowledge

Learn about the products so you can advise customers regarding ingredients/allergens

• Cleanliness & Hygiene

Handle all products in accordance with our food safety policy.

Help us to maintain a clean and orderly baking environment, including sanitising equipment, utensils and the counter. Cleaning duties include but are not limited to surface sanitising, cleaning of displays, doors, and fridges, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, toilet check and cleaning.

• Organisation

Preparing and packing products for sale with consistency and efficiency.

Keep packaging topped up and at the ready.

Receive deliveries and put stock away promptly.
