We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth across APAC.

 

The Opportunity

This is a quota-carrying sales role where you’ll own revenue growth across the APAC region, develop new opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and channel partners.

You’ll work closely with our Sales, Technical, Marketing, Product and Partner teams to identify opportunities, build pipeline and convert them into successful commercial outcomes.

 

What You’ll Do

• Own revenue growth across your APAC territory.
• Identify, qualify and close opportunities across survey, AEC, government and mining markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through to proposal, validation, negotiation and close.
• Build and develop reseller, referral and technology partnerships.
• Create partner-sourced and partner-assisted pipeline through targeted accounts and disciplined follow-up.
• Engage confidently with technical users, commercial buyers and senior decision-makers.
• Lead discovery conversations, understand technical requirements, qualify solution fit and clearly articulate commercial value.
• Coordinate product demonstrations with Emesent’s technical experts while maintaining ownership of the commercial outcome.
• Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting and territory planning.

 

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in quota-carrying sales, business development or channel sales within a technical industry.
• Proven track record of creating pipeline and closing commercial opportunities.
• Experience working with distributors, resellers or referral partners.
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation and forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence engaging with both technical and senior commercial audiences.
• Ability and willingness to travel across APAC.
