An opportunity exists to join a dedicated team of intensive care specialists providing high-quality clinical care to patients requiring intensive care at Cairns Hospital, as well as specialist advice and support for the management of critically ill patients throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service

About your new role:

In your new role you will…… 

• Provide expert intensive care services to patients admitted to, or referred to, the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care in accordance with Cairns Hospital ICU policies, protocols, and best practice standards.
• Contribute to the education and development of junior medical staff, medical students, nursing and allied health professionals through teaching, training and supervision. Foster a collaborative healthcare environment by working closely with colleagues and actively participating in departmental meetings and initiatives.

As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive a competitive base salary (total remuneration):

• Salary up to $281 545 per annum full time (L25 – L27)

Remuneration up to $486, 948 per annum full time (L25 – L27) or,

• Salary up to $257 932 per annum full time (L18 – L24)

Remuneration up to $445, 335 per annum full time (L18 – L24)
