About us:At Newcastle Neuro, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with communication and swallowing needs. We are a small, values-driven practice, focused on improving quality of life through collaborative, evidence-based services. Our Senior Speech Pathologist provides supervision that meets your needs – whether you prefer regular check-ins via text, daily support calls, or formal monthly sessions, we’ll work with what suits you.
Our three Speech Pathologists are all mums of young children (with another on the way!). We get that you already have a full life — whether that’s raising a family, caring for others, or simply protecting your downtime — and we believe that paid work should always come with healthy boundaries.
What we offer:Adult caseload with focus on acquired, neurodegenerative and age-related conditionsFlexible days and hours60% of billables plus superannuation for experienced clinicianSupervision and support from a Senior Speech PathologistNo KPIsWork within a 30-minute radius of Kotara
Requirements:Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (SPA CPSP)ABN and appropriate insurances (Public Liability and Professional Indemnity)NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police CheckExperience supporting adults with swallowing and/or communication difficultiesPerson-centred, functional and quality-of-life approach to careAbility to work collaboratively with families and external stakeholders such as OTs, dietitians, support coordinators and support workersAbility to work autonomously, meet deadlines and work to a high standard of evidence-based careCurrent driver's licence and own vehicle
