We have a fantastic opportunity for an OpenShift Engineer to join a leading IT consultancy in undertaking the deployment of OpenShift infrastructure across the store network of a large enterprise client.
Working as part of the project team and complimenting existing Client technical resources (who will be executing overnight store cutovers and deployment activities) you will be a subject matter expert for OpenShift-related technical issues encountered during the rollout.
Key duties will include:Aid in the deployment (10pm – 4am, Sun- Thurs), provide Openshift technical support during deployment and cutoff activities.Provide technical escalation and platform expertiseInvestigate and resolve OpenShift platform issues impacting deployment activities.Provide troubleshooting support for Overnight Client team members on:OpenShift cluster deployment failures.ACM, ArgoCD and GitOps-related issues.Platform networking issues, including DNS, ingress, egress and routing.OpenShift storage and provisioning issuesAuthentication, access and platform configuration issues.Automation and Ansible deployment workflow failures.
Key skills required:OpenShift, Ansible, Git,Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
