Dental Technician

About the role

The Littleton Cole Dental Centre is seeking an enthusiastic experienced Dental Technician/Ceramist to join our highly skilled team. We offer all aspects of dental care, ranging from preventive and general dentistry to complex treatment of chronic head and neck pain, snoring and sleep apnoea, All on 4 implant treatments to single tooth implants, smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations. Our business is dedicated to providing the highest quality products in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Skilfully layer ceramic materials on various dental substrates (Emax, Zirconia, PFM, veneers, implants) for superior aesthetics and function

• Work with thermoforming and acrylic

• Apply stain and glazing techniques

• Work in a cohesive team environment and autonomously

• Work unsupervised and be involved in direct treatment planning and design of cases together with staff and dentists

• Maintain consistent, high-quality ceramic build-up throughout the process

• Work to deadlines

• Uphold precision and accuracy in all tasks, from preparation to finishing, to meet exacting standards

About you

• Relevant Dental Technician Qualification

• Australian citizen or valid Australian visa with work rights and onshore

• Minimum 2 years ceramic experience

• Excellent skills working with thermoforming and acrylic

• Good experience in stain and glazing techniques

• Capable of working in a cohesive team environment, whilst also having the ability to work autonomously

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• High degree of computing competency and high standard of accuracy

• Dedicated to the pursuit of excellence with a critical eye for precision and detail

• Artistic with an eagerness to progress and learn

• Good communication skills with an enthusiastic attitude

• Ability to quickly absorb technical information and intelligently communicate information clearly and confidently

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
