Salary: $101,416 - $105,197 + super + salary packaging

About the role

Join our friendly, passionate, and deeply supportive Aboriginal Health team dedicated to delivering exceptional, culturally safe care to First Nations patients and their families.

• Deliver holistic social, emotional, & advocacy support to First Nations patients and their families

• Conduct culturally safe assessments & drive meaningful engagement to support healthcare decisions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in family conferences, and coordinate discharge planning

• Help foster strong partnerships with local Aboriginal community health providers and external services

• Serve as a cultural resource for hospital staff while supporting health promotion & improvement initiatives

About you

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

• Experienced in supporting First Nations patients and their families in a healthcare setting

• Strong understanding of the healthcare challenges facing First Nations patients and families

• Excellent communication & teamwork skills coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Have or be willing to undertake a minimum Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care

• A current unrestricted NSW Driver’s License

• Experience in analysing patient and service metrics, desirable
