Are you a warm, professional and organised administrator who enjoys working with people and creating a positive first impression?

We are seeking an experienced College Receptionist to join our team in a permanent, full-time position at our Secondary Campus in Goodna.

As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, visitors and external stakeholders, you will play an important role in ensuring our reception operates efficiently and provides a welcoming experience for everyone who enters our College.

We are looking to commence the successful candidate in the role as of early October 2026

Your Role

• Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support across the College reception
• Welcome students, parents, visitors and contractors in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage enquiries, incoming telephone calls and communications promptly and courteously
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with College security and child safety requirements
• Direct visitors and enquiries to the appropriate staff member or location
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception environment
• Manage appointments, meeting room schedules and College car bookings as required
• Maintain accurate records and communicate information while ensuring confidentiality
• Manage crossing supervisors' timesheets
• Provide backup support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, administration and purchasing activities
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and arrange courier services where required
• Archive and retrieve College documents as required
• Work collaboratively with the Business Office team and provide relief and backup support
• Contribute to a positive and supportive College community
• Work in accordance with the College's Child Safety and Well-being policies

About You

You will have:

• A practising Christian faith and the ability to actively support and promote the College’s Christian ethos
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or reception role, preferably within a school or similar customer-focused environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
• A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel

• Experience using business management or finance software, with experience in TASS or the ability to learn new systems highly regarded
• Knowledge of child safety requirements within an education environment
