Recruitment Consultant

About the Role

Sipena Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is central to supporting our workforce planning and hiring needs, and would suit a candidate who is confident managing the end-to-end recruitment process while also contributing to broader HR and workplace relations functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the advertising of open roles and manage the screening, interviewing, and selection of suitable candidates

• Maintain accurate personnel files and support HR information systems

• Advise leadership on employment policies, staff conduct, and performance matters

• Coordinate onboarding processes and communicate details on entitlements, pay, and career progression opportunities

• Log incoming job vacancy requests, capturing role requirements, pay rates, and employment conditions

• Share current vacancy details with clients and prospective candidates

• Support discussions on terms and conditions of employment, and help resolve workplace disputes or grievances

• Interpret relevant legislation, awards, and agreements to ensure compliance with pay structures and dispute resolution processes

• Contribute to the development of workplace agreements and internal HR policy initiatives

• Support consultative committees and employee engagement initiatives

Ideal to Have

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in recruitment or human resources

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with good verbal and written proficiency in English and Spanish

• Sound understanding of employment legislation and workplace relations principles

• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
