Neta Care Holistic Health Services (NCHHS) is looking for a passionate, dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary allied health team.
Who We AreNCHHS delivers Allied Health and Community Services across the disability sector and beyond. Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Behaviour Support who work together to help clients live healthier, more independent, more fulfilling lives.
The RoleAs a Speech Pathologist at NCHHS, you'll assess, diagnose and manage speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties across all age groups. You'll design and deliver personalised, evidence-based therapy plans, collaborate closely with our wider allied health and medical network, and equip clients and their families with practical strategies for lasting progress.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering clinical services with a sustainable therapy hour target of 25 Therapy Hours/Week
Conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnostics for speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans tailored to each client's goals
Providing direct, evidence-based therapy to build clients' communication and swallowing abilities
Educating clients and families on diagnoses, therapy options and strategies to support progress at home
Tracking client progress and adjusting treatment plans to keep outcomes on track
Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, educators and caregivers
Responding to urgent or severe communication and swallowing needs as they arise
Keeping accurate, compliant clinical records
Staying current through ongoing training and professional development

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
A current paid NDIS Worker Screening Check
A current paid Blue Card
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Experience working with clients across a range of ages and backgrounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and thrive as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
