Join The Star Gold Coast as the Chef de Cuisine in Cucina Vivo, our signature Italian restaurant, where you will lead a team passionate about great food, genuine hospitality and help develop the next generation of chefs.

This role is about much more than running a kitchen. We are looking for a leader who loves food, takes pride in the craft and can inspire others to do the same. You will drive the day to day operation of the kitchen while building a culture focused on quality, consistency, food safety and guest satisfaction. Working closely with the front of house team, you will lead a brigade that delivers authentic Italian cuisine and memorable guest experiences every day.

What are we looking for

• Strong culinary experience leading teams in a premium dining environment
• Proven people leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire team members
• Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
• Passion for delivering authentic, high-quality culinary experiences and exceptional guest satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability to manage labour costs, food costs, and kitchen productivity
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance requirements
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
