With its head office on the Southside of Brisbane, a terrific opportunity has arisen at a very successful commercial cleaning and facility services company for an experienced Area Operations Manager to support the Operations team. The business has coverage along the eastern seaboard, with concentration in the South East corner of Queensland, and provides services to the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Aged Care and Medical Sectors.

About the Role:

• Provide strong leadership 

• Conduct site visits as per a defined schedule

• Carry out inspection reports and manage associated activity

• Staff Training

• Carry out inductions

• Conduct Tool Box talks

• Manage compliance to the OH&S and Compliance System

• Manage and monitor periodical cleaning activities across multiple sites

• Ensure rosters and budgets are in place across all sites and they are adhered to

The Successful Candidate:

• Industry Knowledge - cleaning and facility services 

• Experience in supervising multiple site operations

• Flexible approach to managing sites and outcomes

• Experience in working in both commercial and education environments

• Have a passion for excellence and compliance to systems and processes

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

• Be self-motivated, a team player and be flexible

• Must have a Blue Card and Police Check

This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional support on weekends as required. Flexibility with work times is essential.

The role will be provided with motor vehicle allowance plus mobile phone, laptop and tablet.
