ASSISTANTS - Deli

Basil's Fine Foods is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Deli Assistants to join our friendly team in Mindarie.

We have full-time, part-time, and casual positions available, with 3–5 shifts per week for the right candidates.

As a Deli Assistant, you'll be an important part of creating a great shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable service at the deli counter

• Serving a variety of fresh hot and cold foods

• Preparing and presenting deli products to a high standard

• Keeping display cabinets clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing

• Rotating stock and assisting with inventory control

• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

• Working as part of a team to ensure the deli operates smoothly

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused

• Passionate about food and delivering great service

• A strong communicator with a positive attitude

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Flexible to work across a rotating roster

Our store is open 7 days a week from 7:00am to 8:00pm, so flexibility is essential.

Previous deli or food retail experience is preferred but not essential. We provide full training for the right person, so if you're eager to learn and ready to work, we encourage you to apply.
