About the opportunity

Astrid is redefining what a modern specialty pharmacy experience can feel like. We are looking for a Dispensary Technician to join our boutique dispensary team and support a high-quality, compassionate patient journey from prescription receipt through to counselling, dispensing, and delivery.

In this fast-paced, detail-focused role, you will work under pharmacist supervision and help ensure every patient receives timely, accurate and thoughtful care. You will support dispensing workflows, patient communication, stock management and administrative tasks in line with professional standards and pharmacy practice requirements.

A typical day might look like

• Assisting patients with prescription and general enquiries in a calm, professional,. and confidential manner

• Supporting pharmacists with dispensing and workflow coordination

• Preparing orders for courier delivery or in-store collection

• Maintaining patient records and administrative documentation with a strong focus on accuracy

• Managing dispensary stock, including ordering, replenishment, storage, and stock control

• Helping create a welcoming, premium and supportive experience for every patient interaction

About you

• Previous dispensary or pharmacy experience, ideally in a busy community or specialty pharmacy setting

• A strong eye for detail, accuracy and patient confidentiality

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Warm, discreet and professional customer service style

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

• A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in patient-centred healthcare

• Comfort working within regulated healthcare processes and pharmacist-led supervision

Our team members work in our pharmacies throughout their shift, often standing for long periods. Stock replenishment can involve repeated movements and lifting heavier items, so please keep this in mind when applying.
