About the role

This role is classified as a Level 3 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement with a base salary range of $91,814 - $99,376. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
This role is primarily structured around a Monday to Friday roster and also has the potential to pick up one Sunday shift per month on penalty rates.
The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Digital Journalist to join SBS News in Canberra, reporting from Parliament House.
We’re looking for someone with a strong interest in politics who shares our vision and is committed to delivering distinctive journalism that reflects modern Australia.
This is a digital-first role focused on producing timely, accurate and engaging political content, while also contributing to broader SBS News coverage across platforms where required.
