The Opportunity  The Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) assists client to build the skills and knowledge they need to become self-reliant and active members of our society. As a student within the HSP you will have to opportunity to assist clients in their settlement journey ranging from issues regarding housing, employment, education, health, finances, transportation family functioning and social support. Delivery of our services includes 1:1 and group activities, clients facing, as well as administrative requirements such as documentation and record keeping. Community engagement and group work comprises much of this work. Aligned with the HSP orientation outcomes, students will assist through office based support tasks or community-based tasks to support the settlement of clients.  The Impact  As part of the Humanitarian Settlement Program you will contribute to creating a friendly and inclusive environment that will help refugees feel welcome and support them to achieve their settlement goals.
