Casual Sales Assistant

With such a broad product range, our customer base includes families, tradies, hobbyists and commercial clients.

At Clark Rubber Halls Head we are looking for an energetic person with a bright personality to fit into our fun and vibrant sales team. Previous customer service skills are a must, preferably in a sales based role. 

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills and be adaptable in advising customers on our diverse range of product categories. Along with this you will need to be able to perform well in a busy environment - serving customers, answering phones, and assisting with stock control.

We also require someone who has a reasonable to high level of mathematic ability, as you will be required to calculate measurements for custom made products and client projects.

A huge part of our business is the sales and service of swimming pools and pool related equipment. We test pool water in store and advise on water chemistry on a regular basis. All training is provided in store, however the right candidate will possess the ability to learn this type of knowledge and apply it on the job in a reasonable time frame.

This is a casual position starting around 15 hours per week, and increasing over the summer period. This position is also temporary from September to February, however there is a strong chance it may lead to further employment for the right person and circumstances.
