About the role
Trinity Preschool Orange has been part of the Orange community since 1924. We are a community-based, not-for-profit preschool governed by a volunteer parent Management Committee, and we care for around 160 children each week across our three-day and two-day programs.
We are rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard, and we are proud of a team where people stay for the long term. Many of our teachers and educators have been with us for well over a decade.
We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a two-day program on Thursdays and Fridays. You will work alongside an experienced team of educators, in a room with settled routines and strong family relationships already in place.
This is a term-time position for the 2027 preschool year, running from Thursday 28 January 2027 to Friday 17 December 2027, working 15 hours per week between 8:30am and 4:00pm.
Observe, document and plan a developmentally appropriate curriculum that reflects the lives and interests of the children and their families
Oversee curriculum planning that reflects Belonging, Being and Becoming, the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia
Build meaningful interactions between children, between children and teachers, and with families
Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that reflects Trinity's values
Keep accurate records including online documentation, daily learning programs, displays, and accident and medication records
Contribute to staff meetings, staff development and parent information sessions
We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and brings both the qualifications and the warmth the role needs.
An approved early childhood teaching qualification
Current NESA accreditation, or eligibility to obtain it
A current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid, including asthma and anaphylaxis training
Sound working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standard and the National Regulations
Confidence with online documentation and communicating with families
