About the Role

We're seeking reliable and technically minded field technicians to join our casual installation network, delivering IoT device deployments across commercial sites throughout Australia.

Most work is performed after business hours, typically from 5:00 PM onwards, allowing installations to be completed with minimal disruption to site operations.

Projects may include:

• Installing IoT sensors, gateways, beacons, and associated hardware

• Mounting equipment and carrying out basic cabling where required

• Configuring and commissioning devices

• Testing device connectivity and operation

• Performing hardware replacements and upgrades

• Diagnosing and resolving installation issues

• Capturing installation photos and completion documentation

• Conducting site surveys and validation checks

A clear scope of work will be provided for each project, and our technical support team is available remotely whenever assistance is needed.

Previous IoT experience is not essential. You'll likely be a great fit if you have experience in:

• CCTV, security, or access control systems

• Structured cabling or telecommunications

• NBN installation or field service work

• IT support, device deployment, or technical field services

• Working independently on customer sites

• Following installation procedures and documenting completed work

You must be comfortable working independently, communicating professionally with site contacts, and representing Daelibs on customer sites.

You are Australian or have the relevant permanent permits to work in Australia. The client base requires that all technicians have a current police check.

We invite undergraduates in IT and savvy field technicians from other industries to apply. 

What you'll need:

• Current driver's licence is a must

• A clean, reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6 foot ladder, some tools and a few boxes. A station Wagon, Ute or Van ideally.

• Mobile phone.

• Windows laptop.
