Experienced Instrument Technician DIDO

About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service support to customers who are predominantly in the gold mining & iron ore sectors throughout Western Australia. Site based training will be provided to come up to speed on the vast client base.

Key responsibilities

• Programmed maintenance and refurbishment of in service weighing and measuring equipment

• Installation / commissioning works of new weighing and measuring equipment

• Workshop based assembly, production, test and repair of equipment

• Complete and issue service and calibration reports

• Proactively contributing to the planning and scheduling of upcoming works

• Assist in the design and engineering of new systems

About you

• Display positive mindset solution orientated attitude, energetic and flexible toward business growth / change

• Have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously when required

• Good with hand tools, the ability to fault find

• Familiar with using Microsoft word, excel and outlook

• Previous experience servicing Weightometers / Belt Scales

• Instrumentation Trade Certificate or Cert IV in Instrumentation / Electrical is essential

• Restricted Electrical License is essential

• Weighing, Measuring, Instrumentation experience is essential

• White Card / Construction Card

• Laboratory Drug and Alcohol testing is required every 28 days together with annual medicals
